This CCW 16-hour Course is SB2 Compliant and authorized for the State of California. It covers all the practical, hands-on, testing, and live firearm components mandated by CA and local CCW regulations by CA DOJ Certified CCW Instructors.

This is a two-day program.
The first day is classroom based with updated regulations and presentations about the required subject topics.
We review the actual target that is used in the qualification process and show the distances required for the qualification to allow the student to better prepare for the range day.
The second day is hands-on covering safety, marksmanship, firearm handling, culminating with the required qualification course(s) of fire. Upon successfully completing both days, participants will receive a certificate to submit to their authorizing law enforcement agency.​​
CCW Course Information
**ALL firearms must be unloaded, cased and locked until instructed to handle by an instructor.
**DO NOT bring any ammunition into the classroom, leave it secured in your vehicle. On range day, please check in with an instructor before bring any firearm/ammunition onto the range. ​
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING:
*Valid California DMV issued driver's license or ID.
*Any documentation presented to you from your regulating agency.
​​° Handgun(s) - Revolver or semiautomatic. The State of California requires that the guns you list on your permit be registered to you with the State. Depending on the issuing agency, there may be restrictions on gun type, modifications, and/or optics. Please review the issuing agencies requirements as shown on their website. Be sure you bring the actual guns you have put on your renewal application to class on both days.​ If you wish to add a gun, please contact us.
*Three magazines (minimum) or one speed-loaders if using a revolver for each respective firearm.
​*Ammunition - 300 rounds (minimum) for one main training gun plus an additional 50 rounds for each additional gun you want on your permit. You must qualify with all guns you want on your permit.
​*Sturdy belt, no cloth or thin belts. Must be 1.25" wide and have adequate thickness to safely secure magazines and firearm around the waist. Your pants should have belt loops and not be lightweight work out attire etc..​
*Strong side outside-the-waistband (OWB) KYDEX belt holster (no cordura nylon or leather). No Blackhawk Serpa holsters or similar that require the use of the trigger finger to activate the release of the firearm from the side of the holster. NO IWB, fanny pack, purse, shoulder, pocket holsters - ONLY OWB that will be worn on the strong-side. *Dual magazine belt carrier (minimum) for the belt.​​​​*Wrap-around eye protection and electronic hearing protection. ​
*Front opening jacket or vest, medium weight, that covers the holstered handgun.
*Baseball cap or visor.
*Simple lunch, personal hydration, snacks (for each day).
*Sunscreen, insect repellant, lip balm.
*Closed-toe sport shoes or tactical boots, no flip-flops, crocs, etc..​
*Notepad and pen (black ink)​* No low-cut necklines, tank-tops, please dress in multiple layers to address, hot, warm, cool, cold, wet and dry climate conditions like you were going outdoors for a hike.
